Eyepins are common hardware found in the jewelry maker’s box. Eyepins are made of different metals like sterling silver, gold-filled, copper, silver-plated and goldplated. An eyepin is a length of metal that has a loop at one end. Eyepins are similar to headpins, minus the loop at the end. People use eyepins to make beaded charms or connect separate pieces of jewelry together. Eyepins are available in different gauges, or thicknesses.
