CHAIN | LONG & SHORT CHAIN

True to its name, long and short chains have long links alternating with short links. A long and short chain is somewhat similar to a figaro chain. Unlike a figaro chain, which has three short links and then a long link, the links of long and short chains may alternate every other. The shape of the links in a long and short chain may also be different. Some long and short changes have oval links, while others have more rectangular links. Long and short links add a subtle dynamic to jewelry making endeavors.
