Larimar gemstone are filled with enticing earthy colors. The larimar stone contains beautiful dark blues, ice blues, and earth browns. All these colors combine to make a stone that is truly stunning, and pleasing to the eye. The larimar gemstone looks like it came out of a glacier, the ice blues stand out and compliment the rest of the browns in the stone. Larimar was discovered in 1916 by Father Miguel Domingo, but it took years for the stone to be mined. Miguel named the stone after his daughter Larissa, and "mar" which means sea in Spanish. Larimar is only found in the Dominican Republic.

This package comes with blue Dominican larimar cabochon in an oval shape. It comes in an aqua blue color with hints of burgundy. There is a natural marking on the side of the stone. The cabochon is 34mm x 44mm. Please look at the photos for more information.
