Larimar beads show us the power of father's love for his daughter and the human love for the sea. The Larimar stone was discovered when an idle fisherman walked on a beach in the Dominican Republic. Not really sure what he found, the fisherman simply knew it was one of the most beautiful things he ever saw, right there with his daughter, Larissa, and the sea. Thus, he named the stone in the most fitting way he ever could, combining the two words and giving us the Larimar gemstone we use today in necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
Larimar beads can have as many different faces as the sea. From tranquil blue to stormy browns and blacks, Larimar shows us the essence of the ocean.
