The larimar stone is like a tiny chunk from a pristine tide pool in the Caribbean sea. These larimer gemstone seethe with pure blue and foamy white around brownish black specks like rocks in the tidepool. The larimar stone owes its unique name to two things, its discoverer's daughter, Larissa, and "mar," the Spanish word for sea. How special to have a stone named after you, and Larissa could not have picked a prettier or more unique stone to lend her name to than the larimar stone. These Larimar beads are square shaped cabochon, ready to be wrapped in wire or set in sterling silver.

Each of these larimar stones is cut into a square shape cabochon, and you can observe the opposite sides of the larimar stone cabochon in the last two pictures.
